ABOUT THE STUDY PROGRAM

The Information and Public Relations Study Program at the Vocational School of Universitas Diponegoro is a vocational education program focused on developing professional competencies in communication, public relations, digital media, information management, content production, and organizational communication strategies in the digital era.

Amid the rapid transformation of information technology, the evolution of digital media, and the growing demand for effective communication, public and private sector organizations require professionals who can manage information, build and maintain reputations, strengthen stakeholder relationships, and deliver messages that create meaningful impact on society.

Through a practice-oriented curriculum, applied projects, and collaborations with industry partners, students develop competencies in public relations, corporate communication, media management, digital content production, journalism, broadcasting, branding, marketing communication, event management, and technology-driven information management.

As part of Vocational Excellence, the Information and Public Relations Study Program integrates academic learning with professional experience through the Integrated Teaching Factory Ecosystem of the Vocational School at Universitas Diponegoro.

Students gain hands-on learning experience through VokaMedia, a digital media platform that supports practical learning in journalism, news writing, public communication, and impact-driven publishing. They also gain professional experience through VOCA TV, a broadcasting and digital media platform that develops competencies in broadcasting, multimedia, content production, live streaming, and digital communication. In addition, VokaRadio serves as a digital radio platform that provides students with practical learning opportunities in public communication and the radio broadcasting industry.

Through these Teaching Factory platforms, students learn not only how to produce and disseminate information but also how effective communication can enhance institutional reputation, increase digital visibility, and strengthen relationships among educational institutions, industry, and society.
