Semarang – Muthia Putri, an alumna of the Information and Public Relations (INHUM) Study Program at Universitas Diponegoro, has built her career journey from her university years to her current role in digital marketing and customer relationship management (CRM).
During her studies, she learned various practical and industry-relevant courses, including public communication, excellent service, community relations, media production, and marketing strategy. These courses became an important foundation in building her understanding and sharpening the skills required in the professional world.
In addition to focusing on academics, she was also actively involved in various student organizations. She participated in the university-level student activity unit INSANI Universitas Diponegoro, the faculty organization Forum Komunikasi Mahasiswa Islam, and served in the Universitas Diponegoro Student Executive Board for two years. These organizational experiences helped shape her leadership, communication skills, and teamwork abilities.
She also gained valuable experience through a one-semester internship program facilitated by the study program. Through this opportunity, she was directly exposed to the professional world and learned how to adapt to a working environment. She also developed practical skills such as communication, problem-solving, and time management, which became essential assets for her career.
During her internship, she worked as a Digital Marketing intern at Indibiz, Telkom Indonesia Regional 3 Area 1. In this role, she was involved in content management, press release writing, copywriting, community gatherings, and developing marketing strategies based on market needs.
After entering the workforce, she started her career as an entry-level Customer Service staff. The communication skills she developed during her studies and internship became a strong advantage in delivering responsive, solution-oriented, and customer-focused service.
After completing her probation period, she was entrusted with a new role as Customer Relationship Management (CRM) at Air Amanah, a bottled drinking water company with alkaline pH (pH 8+) and TDS ≤ 10 ppm. In this role, she is responsible for managing customer relationships, improving customer engagement and loyalty, and supporting data-driven marketing strategies to drive business growth.
Her journey demonstrates that the combination of academic learning, organizational experience, and internship practice can produce graduates who are well-prepared for the professional world. With this foundation, Muthia Putri continues to grow and contribute in the fields of communication, digital marketing, and customer service.
